Mumbai: 5 Dead, 2 Injured in Level-3 Fire at Tilak Nagar’s Sargam Society; 5 Fire Tenders Present

As of now, five fire tenders are present at the spot. No casualty or loss of life has been reported so far.

Mumbai: 5 Dead, 2 Injured in Level-3 Fire at Tilak Nagar's Sargam Society; 5 Fire Tenders Present

Mumbai: Five people were killed and two others injured in a level-three fire which broke out on the 14th floor of Sargam Society in Mumbai’s Tilak Nagar on Thursday.

As of now, five fire tenders are present at the spot and the efforts to douse the fire are on.

The dead include Sunita Joshi (72), Bhalchandra Joshi (71) and Suman Shrinivas Joshi (83). A senior male citizen, Shrinivas Joshi (86) has been admitted and being treated for suffocation, IANS reported.

Another incident of fire was reported in Mumbai earlier today. Sixteen people were injured in a level-two fire in a godown on Dongri Jail Road in Mumbai’s Bhendi Bazaar, news agency ANI reported. All those wounded were rushed to SSKM Medical College. (Read full story: Here)
