Mumbai: The local train services on the Harbour Line faced disruption on Thursday due to overhead wire breakdown at Mansarovar station. As a result of the technical glitch, the services of trains have been delayed between Panvel and Belapur stations.
A few hours after the problem was encountered, the Central Railway took to Twitter to inform that the local train services between Panvel and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT). “Services between Panvel and CSMT on harbour line resume,” it tweeted.
Earlier in the day, the Central Railway, while informing about the technical glitch, had tweeted, “Due to OHE problem between Khandeshwar and Panvel, harbour line services are delayed. Work to resolve the problem already started. Kindly bear with us.”
A heavy rush, consisting majority of office goers, had build up at the stations falling on the Harbour Line of Central Railway, owing to the problem.
