Mumbai: Local Trains From Andheri to Goregaon on Harbour Line Start Today

Mumbai, Mar 29: Local train services from Andheri to Goregaon station on Harbour Line will be operational from today onwards. Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate the extended Harbour line between Andheri and Goregaon.

The Andheri-Goregaon harbour line is a project worth Rs 103 crore and is part of the Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP)-2. The extension of harbour line will benefit more than 13,000 commuters who travel between Malad and Andheri stations.

49 local trains will be run on Harbour Line till Goregoan from April 1. Of these, 7 services will operate on Churchgate-Goregaon stretch and 42 services on CSMT-Goregaon route.
