This will result in trains on Down fast lines at the Matunga station to run thirty minutes behind schedule.
Also, all down and up slow services arriving at leaving CSMT between 8 AM-2 PM will be late by 15 minutes.
Another mega block, this one between CSMT and Chunabhatti, will be in place between 11:10 AM to 4:10 PM. During the block period, special services will be run between Panvel and Kurla.
Also, during this period, Harbour Line passengers are allowed to travel via Main Line and Western Railway between 10 AM-6 PM.
Western Railway Jumbo Block
A major jumbo block of eight hours was also taken between the intervening night of February 8 and 9. The rail block was taken between 10:15 PM and 6:15 AM on the Mumbai Suburban Section of the Western Railway, between Churchgate and Mumbai Central (suburban) stations. The block was carried out to de-launch girders of Ferrere Road Over Bridge (ROB).
During this rail block, services were not available between Churchgate and Mumbai Central, leading to 136 suburban trains originating from/terminating at Mumbai Central.
