Mumbai Mega Block Latest News: Local train services will remain affected on the Central, Harbour and Western line in Mumbai on Sunday owing to the mega block, as maintenance work will be conducted from 11:00 am to 4 pm.  Central Railway also announced that due to block in connection with doubling work between Surendranagar and Chamaraj, some of the Western Railway services will be cancelled/rescheduled/ regulated.

CR spokesperson, while speaking to a daily informed, “On mainline, block will be held on CSMT-bound slow corridor between Mulund and Matunga from 11.10 am to 3.40 pm. On Harbour line, the block will be taken between CSMT-Bandra and CSMT-Chunabhatti between 11.40 am to 4.10 pm.”

Passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm during the block period.

On Harbour line, Dn line services to Vashi / Belapur /Panvel leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai/Vadala Road from 11.34 am to 4.23 pm and Dn Harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri/Goregaon leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 9.56 am to 4.16 pm will remain suspended. Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9.53 am to 2.44 pm and Up Harbour line services leaving Bandra/Andheri/Goregaon from 10.45 am to 4.58 pm will remain suspended. However, Special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No.8) during the block period.

On Central Line, a jumbo block will be taken from 10.35 hours to 15.45 hours on Sunday. Due to this block, some Mumbai Local trains (Suburban) services will remain cancelled. Up slow line services leaving Thane from 10.37 am to 3.31 pm will be diverted on Up fast line between Mulund and Matunga stations halting at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla and Sion stations and further re-diverted to Up slow line proper at Matunga station. Train leaving Kalyan from 11.04 am to 3.06 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.

Train services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 10.16 am to 2.54 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund, and Diva stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule. All Down and UP slow services leaving/arriving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

On Western line, a jumbo block of five hours will be taken from 10.35 hours to 15.45 hours on UP and DOWN Fast lines between Santacruz and Mahim stations for the maintenance of track, signalling, and overhead equipment.

During the block all up and down fast lines between Santacruz and Mahim stations. Due to this block, some Mumbai Local trains (Suburban) services will remain cancelled.
