Mumbai Railway Mega Block: Schedule for Central, Western, Harbour Railway on February 28

All the three lines will be affected between 10 am and 3 pm on Sunday.Commuters have been advised to plan their travel accordingly.

Mumbai, Feb 27: The Mumbai suburban railways will be affected on Sunday with maintenance work being conducted in all three major lines, i.e, Central, Western and Harbour Line. Though the Central Railways has announced that they have diverted many trains for the convenience of the commuters, it has also adviced them not to board overcrowded trains. According t0 the information issued by the railways, a jumbo block has been announced in the Western Line. Here is the complete schedule:

HARBOUR LINE:  The railways has announced that the train services plying between Kurla to Vashi UP and DN will remain affected from 11:30 pm to 3:30 pm. DN (Down) Harbour Line leaving from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) for Panvel/Belapur/Vashi  from 10.41 am to 3.03 pm and UP Harbour line services from Panvel to CST from 10.43 am to 2.47 pm will remain suspended. But it has been circulated that special trains will ply between these stations during that period.  Also, commuters can travel with their same tickets via Trans-Harbour/Main Line from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. CENTRAL LINE: The trains plying between Kalyan to Thane UP Fast Line will be affected from 11.10 am to 3.40 pm. The railways have informed that UP Fast services leaving Kalyan from 11.22 am to 3.42 pm will be diverted on UP slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations and will halt at all stations. These trains will be further re-diverted on UP Fast line plying between Thane and CST, halting at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla, Dadar and Byculla stations will arrive to the stations 20 minutes behind schedule.

On the other hand, DN Fast services from CST leaving from 10.08 am to 2.42 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts. All the trains will arrive at these station 15 minutes behind schedule.  Additional information says that Ratnagiri – Dadar passenger (Train no- 50104) will be terminated at Diva station and Dadar – Ratnagiri Passenger (Train No- 50103) will leave from Diva station o­n Sunday.

WESTERN RAILWAY: There will be a jumbo block on UP slow and Down Fast services in the Western Line, between Santacruz and Goregaon station on Sunday. This is done in order to carry out the maintenance works of tracks, signalling and overhead equipments. The services will be affected from 10.35 am to 3.35 pm. During this period, all DN Fast line trains will ply on DN slow lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations. Also, all the UP Fast line trains between these two stations will take double halt at Ville Parle station.

Due to the jumbo block, all the Fast trains plying between 10:15 am to 16:06 pm in DN direction and all the Fast trains plying between 09:56 am to 16:10 pm in UP direction will halt station between Andheri and Borivali. It has aslo be amde clear that all the suburban and Mail/Express trains will be delayed by 10 to 15 minutes in this rou Andheri and Borivali te. All the UP 12-car slow locals will take double halt on platform number 4 at Vile Parle station on the fast corridor. Some UP and DN local trains will also be cancelled during this period.
