Mumbai, September 17: The services of the Mumbai local trains will be affected on Sunday due to the mega block scheduled by Central Railways on the Central and Harbour Lines. To avoid any inconvenience to the passengers, the Railway authority has released the schedule for the mega block to be followed on Sunday while requesting the people to bear with the authorities. As per the latest information, there will be no jumbo block on Sunday on the Western line.

Central Line

On the Central line, between 10.47 am to 4.14 pm, Up Slow and semi-fast trains leaving Kalyan will be diverted to Up fast tracks between Kalyan and Mulund stations. These trains will further be re-diverted to proper Up slow line from Mulund station. During the block, Up slow trains will not stop at Thakurli, Kopar, Mumbra and Kalva stations. Passengers of these stations will be allowed to travel via Thane, Diva, Dombivali and Kalyan stations.

The Down fast trains leaving CSMT from 10.08 am to 2.42 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva stations and also at their respective stations as per the schedule. From 10.28 pm to 3.08 pm, Up fast trains leaving Kalyan will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts. These trains will reach their destination 15 minutes behind schedule. All slow trains arriving and leaving CSMT between 12.00 noon to 5.00 pm are expected to run 10 minutes late.

Habour Line

On the Harbour line, the trains leaving from CSMT to Vashi / Belapur /Panvel from 11.21 am to 4.39 pm will be cancelled. Similarly, trains leaving from CSMT to Bandra /Andheri between 9.52 am to 4.43 pm will not be available.

Trains leaving from Panvel/Belapur/Vashi between 9.52 am to 3.26 pm towards CSMT will be suspended. Up train services leaving Bandra/Andheri towards CSMT between 10.44 am to 5.09 pm have been cancelled. However, during the block, passengers can travel by special trains made available between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No.8). People can also travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.
