New Delhi, May 13: An on-duty Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel saved 5-year-old girl life from falling in the gap between platform and coach while attempting to board a train at Mahalaxmi station in Mumbai. The incident took place on Saturday. The video of security personnel rescuing the girl has gone viral. In the video, the RPF personnel can be seen rescuing the child from falling into the gap between the train and the platform after she tripped while boarding a train at the platform. The five-year-old girl identified as Ijara along with her family members had arrived at the railway station to board the train. When Ijara was about to board the train, suddenly train started moving and she fell. Wasting no time, the RPF personnel, who was standing at the platform, rushed to save the girl who was on brink of falling between the platform and train. The whole incident was recorded in CCTV camera and later other passengers also rushed to help the personnel. Recently, a 22-year-old youth also had a narrow escape at Bhopal Railway Station. He slipped from the moving train and sustained several severe injuries. He was immediately rushed to nearby hospital. The youth was identified as Arjun Pandit, a resident of Bag Sewania area. He had boarded the Jabalpur-Indore overnight express. Arjun, who was sitting on the stairs of a general coach slipped and fell on the platform. RPF personnel present at the platform noticed youth falling at the platform and saved him in time.
