Mumbai, Jan 18: A school bus caught fire on Thursday at Jay Coach flyover on the Western Express Highway in Jogeshwari. Fire engulfed when the bus was returning after dropping students at their school. No injury or casualty was reported in the fire incident.

The school bus was en route to Andheri when the fire broke out. The name of the school couldn’t be identified as the bus was completely gutted in the fire. Traffic was briefly affected on the Western Express Highway following the mishap. The reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained. Further details are awaited.

Earlier today, a Thane Municipal Transport (TMT) bus caught fire near the Mumbra township. There was no passenger in the vehicle at the time of the mishap.
