This came after a structural audit conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), where it was found out that the pillars have become weak and needed to be repaired as early as possible. With the repair work going on, there will be 32 days of block till April 6.

From April 7, another 20 days of total traffic block will be carried out.

The flyover will be fully opened towards the end of April.
