As mentioned earlier, the India Meteorological Department, while making a weather prediction for Mumbai city, has issued a heatwave alert for two days. According to the weather department, there have been heatwave conditions in Mumbai yesterday and today, i.e. on May 14 and May 15, 2024 and the minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to be in between 23 and 37 degree Celsius.
While the IMD Mumbai Weather Prediction about heatwave conditions may have worried that residents a bit as the temperatures will naturally go up, there is also a sign of relief from the met department as along with heatwave, a prediction for thundershowers has also been made. According to IMD, while there will be heatwave conditions on May 14 and 15, the city may witness rain or thundershowers a day later on May 16, 2024.
