Mumbai, Sept 29: At least 15 people died in a stampede at Mumbai’s Elphinstone railway station triggered by heavy rains. The incident at Elphinstone railway station was reported at 10:46 AM at a foot-over bridge. Western Railway PRO said that 30 people have injured. They have been taken to the KEM hospital. Senior railway officials have reached the Elphinstone railway station to check over the relief work. Police said that they are investigating the reasons that led to the stampede at the railway station.
