New Delhi, Oct 8: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a two-day visit to Gujarat, flagged off the Antyodaya Express between Udhna Junction (Surat, Gujarat) and Jaynagar (Bihar) on Sunday. This is a holiday train that PM will flag off on his second day of Gujarat visit. The train number is Antyodaya Express Train 15564.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Antyodaya Express (Udhna Junction-Jaynagar):

  2. The unreserved general fare of the train is expected to be Rs. 389.
  3. The train will depart from Udhna Junction on Sunday and reach Jaynagar on Monday (train schedule).
  4. The Antyodaya train between Udhna-Jaynagar is expected to run at the average speed of 49 km/hr.

  6. It will have 21 halts along with 20 intermediate stations between Udhna Junction (Surat) and Jaynagar.

On his day two of Gujarat visit, PM Modi will also visit his hometown Vadnagar and addressed a public meeting. At a public meeting, he launched the Intensified Mission Indradhanush which aims to accelerate progress towards the goal of full immunisation coverage. From Vadnagar, Modi went to Bharuch where laid the foundation stone for Bhadbhut Barrage, to be built over the Narmada River and flagged off the Antodaya Express.
