Nitish Kumar is winning”, tweeted Kejriwal. The tweet saw mixed reactions from Twitterati some of who bashed Kejriwal in their replies, while others supported his ‘intelligent guess’. No one wins elections on a tweet. Bihar people want development under BJP, it is clear: Prakash Javadekar on Arvind Kejriwal’s tweet

Javadekar said that the people of Bihar want development and that is what BJP is capable of giving them. The Bharatiya Janata Party lead National Democratic Alliance has used the development card in Bihar as well, using the party’s star campaigner Narendra Modi to promote the agenda, which also includes poverty alleviation. Six districts of the state went to poll on Friday, kickstarting the second phase of the five phase election. The first phase polling saw 49 constituencies go to poll on October 12. Kejriwal had earlier declared his full support for Nitish Kumar in the elections, much to the disapproval of the Bihar’s Aam Aadmi Party leadership.
