Sydney, Nov 17: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday received a boomerang as a present during a traditional welcome by aboriginal dance performers as he touched down in this Australian city. Modi termed the welcome “amazing”. Modi, who arrived here from Brisbane, watched the aboriginal dance performance at his hotel.  Later the dancers presented him with a boomerang. “Amazing welcome in Sydney. Glad to be here,” he tweeted. Modi also spoke to the dancers. He is to address thousands of the Indian diaspora at the Allphones Arena which is all geared up to welcome him.
