Patna, Jan 5: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Patna on Thursday to attend the closing ceremony of the 350th ‘Prakash Parv’ at Gandhi Maidan. The celebration which is underway to commemorate the 350th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh. PM Modi will take part in several programmes at Gandhi Maidan, where a makeshift Gurudwara has been set up and the Holy Gurugranth Sahib has been installed for the celebrations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also release special commemorative stampts on Prakash Parv.
Besides Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar Governor Ram Nath Kovind, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal and several Union ministers inlcuding Ram Vilas Paswan, Ravi Shankar Prasad and other dignitaries will take part in the 35oth Prakash Parv.
According to a report by Financial Express, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar conducted an aerial survey of Patna to keep an watch over the arrangements for the ongoing celebration of the Parv which marks the 35oth birth anniversary of the Sikh warrior-leader Guru Gobind Singh. Devotees from across the world have arrived at Patna for the event and security has been kept alert to keep an watch and to maintain law and order.
