Gujarat, July 1: The country celebrates National Doctor’s Day today. The Indian Medical Association (IMA) focuses on the Right to Health as a fundamental right. IMA is also concentrating on the principles that manage the bond between doctors and patients.

According to the reports by TOI, Dr. Chetan Patel said, “IMA demands that Right to Health be made a fundamental right. To achieve this goal, the government should strengthen the public healthcare delivery system and promote and support the private health sector which caters to 70% of the healthcare demands of our country.”

IMA will be celebrating this day across 30 IMA branches in the state. Blood donation camps would also be conducted at several locations of the state. IMA is also focusing to discuss on serious issues where doctors and medical establishments face violence. They are expecting facilities so that they can perform their duties and protect mankind in the best way.
