New Delhi, December 19: After the appeal of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi for exemption from personal appearance was quashed by the Delhi High court, the duo will appear in Patiala House court for the National Herald case hearing on Saturday. Speculations are going around in the political arena that both the leaders would appeal for bail from the magistrate, while earlier it was said that Rahul will opt for jail and Sonia will only take bail.

Considering a high-profile case, heavy security has been deployed near the court premises. Also, the court has issued a notice that only people concerned with misappropriation of property case would be allowed inside in the court. Acting on a complaint filed by Bhartiya Janata Party leader  Dr Subramanian Swamy for conspiracy, cheating, breach of trust and misappropriation of property on the duo, Metropolitan Magistrate Lovleen had summoned them to appear personally before the bench and clarify their involvement.
