New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a one-of-a-kind and exclusive interview with Bollywood Akshay Kumar at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg in the national capital, revealed that he had never thought that one day he would become the PM. He also spoke about his love for mangoes, his relation with his friends in the Opposition and the bond he has with his mother.

Sharing a light moment with the ‘Khiladi’ of Bollywood, the PM said that it is good to talk about other things than politics. Revealing that he has been influenced by the Ramakrishna Mission, the Prime Minister also said that he does gets angry but never expresses it.

Getting candid about his family and ambitions, he said that it has been difficult for him to devote time to his family. He also stated that as a child he dreamt of joining the Army.

Speaking about how he is as a person, PM Modi revealed that he is a strict person but never humiliates people. The PM shared an interesting fact about his life and claimed that the first bank account in his name was opened after he became an MLA.

On his relation with the Opposition, he said that the same is cordial. “Mamata Didi sends me kurtas and sweets once or twice every year,” he added.

Responding to a question over his sleep pattern, PM Modi revealed that it is true that he sleeps for just 3.5 to 4 hours in a day. “My sleep cycle is complete after 3.5-4 hours. After that, I am up and ready,” he said. However, he added that the hectic schedule that he follows does take a toll on his health.

Over the relation that he has with his mother, PM Modi said that till today, his mother still sends him money. “Aaj bhi jab main maa se milne jaata hun to wo mere haath me sawa rupaya zaroor rakhti hain,” he revealed.

Sharing his post-retirement plans, the Prime Minister said that he would want to go to an unexplored place and stay there for about 4-5 days. He used to do this during his childhood, the PM revealed. He also spoke about a habit of his which he will never let go off and that is, drinking tea at 5 am and 6 pm under the open sky every day.
