New Delhi, June 1: In a shocking incident, a man while trying to intervene in a quarrel involving his brother, mistook a bystander for the culprit and started beating him. After which, the bystander turned around and stabbed the man to death, reported news agency ANI. This incident took place in Delhi’s Prem Nagar. Kitab Singh, the accused in the case, is now in the police custody and is being interrogated.

On May 27, a man was allegedly stabbed to death by a group of assailants in northwest Delhi’s Netaji Subhash Place. A group of men with their face covered and carrying swords, and sticks, arrived at JJ Colony, Shakarpur and attacked Rakesh after chasing him down, then damaged seven to eight motorcycles parked in the area and fled.

Rakesh was taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead, they said, adding the motive behind the incident was not clear yet.

Earlier, a woman slit her own son’s throat under the influence of a Godman. The 29-year-old woman slit her 8-month-old baby’s throat before stabbing herself multiple times. She was found in a pool of blood by her husband. Her baby was lying just by her side with his throat slit. Her family members have claimed that she had earlier tried to kill her other son as well. She had been frequently visiting a godman and was said to be under her influence.  A murder case was registered against the woman. Role of the godman was also being probed.
