Mumbai, Sep 29: A new twist has come in the viral story of a young girl, who was allegedly thrashed by Mumbai Police personnels at Lalbaugcha Raja Ganesh puja pandal. A new video has surfaced which shows the girl, identified as Nandani Goswami, damaging the barricades at Lalbaugcha Raja. In the video, Nandani Goswami is seen kicking barricades put at Lalbaugcha Raja. After watching the video, you will realise that it was Nandani who provoked the female constables to take harsh steps against her.
Earlier on Tuesday, two women constables were suspended for allegedly assaulting Nandani Goswami. The action was taken after Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis condemned the incident saying,”This is a serious matter. A 29-second long video, that went viral on social media, created an outrage in which three women Police personnel were seen thrashing Nandini. According to Nandani, she along with her parents were entering the pandal through the VIP gate following other people after which cops beat her mercilessly. However the Mumbai Police claimed that the girl was hurling abuses at the women constables and had threatened them.
