Constituency Wise Karnataka Election Results 2018 Winners: Counting for the Karnataka Assembly Elections 2018 took place today. Karnataka results ended in a hung Assembly with the BJP emerging as the single largest party even as the Congress and JDS have joined hands to form government. In Nippani, BJP’s Jolle Shashikala Annasaheb, who won the 2013 Assembly poll on this seat, is pitted against Congress’s Kakaso Pandurang Patil, who had lost last election. The Bahujan Samaj Party has also fielded Kamat Ramesh Ishwar on this seat. The seat is also seeing four Independent candidates this election.
Chikkodi-Sadalga has been a Congress seat for the past three elections. Congress’s 2013 winner Ganesh Prakash Hukkeri has been fielded against BJP’s Annasaheb Shankar Jolle on this seat. On the other hand, Athani has been a BJP seat for the past three polls. BJP’s three-time winner Laxman Sangappa Savadi is pitted against Congress’s Mahesh Iranagouda Kumathalli, who had lost the last election. The Kagwad seat has also been a BJP seat for the past three polls. This year, the seat will also see the Aam Aadmi Party in contest. AAP has fielded Balasaheb Ravsaheb Rao against Congress’s Shrimant Balasaheb Patil and BJP’s Bharamagouda Alagouda Kage. In Kudachi, the BJP has fielded P Rajeev against Congress’s Amit Shama Ghatage and JDS’s Aihole Rajendra Annappa.
