Delhi’s Patiala trial court on Monday issued a fresh date for the execution of the four convicts facing the gallows in connection with the 2012 Delhi gangrape and murder case. The hanging of all four Nirbhaya convicts will now take place on March 3 at 6 AM in Delhi’s Tihar Jail.
Vinay’s advocate has moved the Election Commission, too, complaining against the procedure in which the Delhi government rejected Vinay’s mercy plea while model code of conduct was on.
