Purnia (Bihar), Oct 3: Accusations and blame game have been a part of the Bihar elections. This time it was the Bhartiya Janata Party president Amit Shah who slammed the “Mahagatbandhan” allies Rashtriya Janata Dal, Janata Dal United and the Congress. Amit Shah on Saturday was addressing an election rally in Seemanchal area of Purnia district in Bihar which will go for polls on the fifth and the last phase on November 5.
Calling the Lalu-Nitish-Congress alliance as “Jungle Raaj-2”, Amit Shah straight forwardly blamed chief minister Nitish Kumar for backward development of Bihar. He said that though Prime Minister Narendra Modi allotted Rs 1.25 lakh crore as special package for the state and another Rs 40,000 crore for some other projects, Nitish Kumar says he does not need it. He said. “Pradhan Mantri ne 1.25 lakh karor rupaye Bihar ke vikas ke liye awantith kiye aur Rs 4oooo crore dusre karyakroamo ke liye diye. Par Nitish ji ko ye package nai chahiye. Adding on he said, “Pata hai na Lalu ke raaj ko kaya kehte the? Ye wahi Nitish ji hai jinhone us “Jungle Raaj” ko khatam karne ke liye BJP ke saath gatbandhan banaya tha, Lekin unki mahatwakansha pradhan mantri banne ki thi, isiliye unhone NDA ka saath chor, Lalu ji ke saath haath milaya, Congress ke saaath Haath milaya. Ab isse kya aayega? ….Isse Bihar me “Jungel Raaj-2” aayega. Mai aap logo se aawedan karta hun, ki agar aapko vikash chahiye, to NDA ki sarkar ko 2/3 bahumat se vijayi banaye (Do you have any idea what was the tenure of Lalu called? This is that Nitish Kumar who joined hands with NDA to end the “Jungle Raaj”, but he had big aspirations to become Prime Minister, so Kumar stabbed NDA and joined hands with Lalu…joined hands with Congress. What will come if he comes to power?…This will call “Jungle Raaj-2″…I appeal to you to vote for NDA for development in Bihar by supporting us with 2/3 majority). Among many issues, Shah appealed the people to vote for NDA, if they want 24-hour electricity, employment for youth, quality education, drinking water facility, hospitals in rural areas, roads and markets to sell their goods at good price. Shah also promised to support the industrialisation in Seemanchal area. He also took a jibe at the Congress leader saying his knowledge about the cross firing at the India-Pakistan border is limited.
Commenting on the recent elections rally of Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasda Yadav, Shah said that instead of promoting their party, these leadsers are taking th names of Modi several times in a single speech. He said, “Unki rallies me wo Modi ji ka zikr baar baar karte hai, mukjhe to samajh me nahi aata wo apni party ka prachar kar rahe hai aya humara.”
