New Delhi: On a day when the coronavirus cases in the country have gone up to 40 with six more cases being reported from Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday asked the general public not to be afraid of the virus. He said the state government has made enough arrangements to contain its spread and urged them to take precautions because prevention is better than cure. The statement from the Uttar Pradesh CM comes at a time when the virus has infected 40 people across the country, including 16 Italians visiting India.



In the wake of the coronavirus care, the Central government has stepped up efforts to screen people at entry points into the country and has also set up facilities to quarantine suspected and confirmed cases.

Worldwide, the number of coronavirus cases stood at over 1,05,800, including 3,595 deaths.
