Noida school reopen: Schools to remain closed in Noida? District administration issues orders, check details inside
The District Magistrate has advised parents not to send their children to school if they are unwell. He also urged people to avoid using vehicles in order to help control air pollution.
It came as a reprieve for the schools in Noida. The district administration has taken a decision regarding reopening of schools and offline classes which were shifted to online due to rise in air pollution. The administration has said that the schools can be run in both the modes-offline and online.
District Magistrate Manish Verma has issued new guidelines stating that schools can reopen in areas where air quality has improved. However, it will be up to parents to decide whether they wish to send their children. If parents choose the online mode, the schools will be required to provide that option.
In the past few days, there was no smog observed in Noida and in its vicinity. But, the air quality still remains in the poor category. The district magistrate said the online mode was operational till November 26. A meeting was held where it was decided that the schools will be reopened from November 27. The school management can decide to reopen the school after taking cognisance of the level of the air pollution in their respective region.
