Noida police issues traffic advisory for Farmers' Mahapanchayat, several routes to be diverted | Check routes to avoid

New Delhi: Several farmers’ organizations will hold a Mahapanchayat on Wednesday at the Noida Authority office located in Sector-6. Owing to the program, the Noida Traffic police will close the route from Sector-15 roundabout to Sector-6 Chowk, and from Sandeep Paper Mill Chowk to Harola Chowk. Vehicles traveling from Sector-15 roundabout to Sandeep Paper Mill Chowk will have to take the route via Rajnigandha Chowk.

Those heading from Jhundpura Chowk to Sandeep Paper Mill Chowk will be diverted through Sector-15 roundabout via Sectors 8, 10, 11, and 12. Vehicles going from Sandeep Paper Mill Chowk towards Harola Chowk will need to take the route through Rohan Motors Tiraaha, IGL Chowk, Sector-1, and then via Ashok Nagar.

  • In Greater Noida, farmers’ organizations are set to stage protests once again against the authorities.
  • They have held meetings in villages to mobilize support for a Mahapanchayat against the Yamuna and Greater Noida Authorities.

Various farmer groups will press the authorities to fulfill their demands related to compensation, residential rights, and land acquisition. The Mahapanchayat will also serve as a show of strength for the farmers’ organizations.
