Patna, June 16: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for handing out Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana to foreign dignitaries. “Earlier, the foreign officials were, as a token of appreciation, handed out replicas of Taj Mahal or some minar which was far away from illustrating India’s culture or heritage,” stated the 44-year-old UP CM. Further voicing his opinion on the same note, according to NDTV, he said, the first time this has happened in the country that PM Modi carries Bhagavad Gita or Ramayan with him during his foreign trips to gift and any visiting President in the country is gifted the holy Hindu book.
