Odisha, May 26: Two people were detained by police for allegedly hurling bombs at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) party state office in Bhubaneswar on Saturday. Police told ANI that the motive behind hurling bombs would be found out soon. “The interrogation is on-going & we’ll find the exact motive soon,” Odisha police told the news agency. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also paid a visit to the party office after the incident.
According to a news report, two miscreants tried to enter the BJP party office. However, when they were stopped by the security, they picked up a fight with the guard and later, hurled bombs at the office. This incident happened when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in the state to address a public gathering at Bali Yatra Ground in Cuttack on completion of four years of his government at the Centre. The identity of the arrested people is yet to be ascertained. The investigation is underway.
