Bengaluru, Dec 26: Major fire broke out after over 900 cylinders exploded in a stockyard on Sunday night in Chintamani village near Kolar district of Karnataka. The blast led to huge fire that engulfed two trucks and a Bolero vehicle. According to initial reports, cylinders were stored in a truck  when multiple blasts took place. Three vehicles including one SUV gutted in fire that broke after cylinders exploded. No casualties have been reported so far. The situation in the area remain tense as the remaining cylinders have also started leaking and the smell from them is spreading near the stockyard. As per the reports, the incident took place last night due to short circuit of battery. The police and fire department have also reached the spot to take stock of the situation.
