Patna School Principal Arrested For Raping, Impregnating Class 5 Girl; Clerk Held For Filming Crime

The principal had first raped her by calling her to his office on the pretext of examining her exercise book, a report said.

Patna: The principal of a school in Patna district of Bihar have been arrested for allegedly raping and impregnating a class five student. The heinous crime continued for over a period of nine months. The police have also taken a clerk into custody over charges of making a video clip of the crime and blackmailing the victim.

The incident came to light on Wednesday after the girl started vomiting on returning home from school. The police were reportedly informed after the medical tests of the girl confirmed that she was pregnant.

During investigation, the minor alleged the principal of a Phulwarisharif-based school of sexually assaulting her at knife point since nine months. Furthermore, she accused the clerk of making a video clip of the crime and threatening her to circulate it on the social media if she narrates the ordeal to anyone.

A case has been registered at the women police station on the basis of the statement of girl’s parents.

Meanwhile, the accused principal has denied the charges levelled against him. “I haven’t done anything. Medical examination will establish everything,” he was quoted as saying to ANI.
