A photojournalist of a leading English daily was today electrocuted in Jhansi district while taking photographs of the water train parked in the railway yard.

Lucknow, May 9: A photojournalist of a leading English daily was today electrocuted in Jhansi district while taking photographs of the water train parked in the railway yard.

Ravi Kanaujia (25) was clicking pictures of the train when he came in contact with a power line, police said here. He died on the spot.(ALSO READ:Seven of marriage party electrocuted in Telangana).

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav condoled his death and announced financial assistance of Rs 20 lakhs to his family.
