“Shreemati Sonia Gandhi please don’t preach us ‘Rajdharma’. Your record is full of rapid violations, twists and turns for plane and simple vote bank politics,” Prasad said furthering his attack.

On being asked about his party’s stand on controversial remarks made by BJP leaders Parvesh Verma and Kapil Mishra, the law minister said, “We have clarified our position very clearly, we do not approve these statements.”

The Congress hit back in no time.  “You will not understand this cross-border battle. We explain.”

“Across the line are thieves, robbers, friends of the bourgeoisie; They are rapists, hate and you are promoting them all.

“On the other side are farmers, labourers, poor, women, youth and the protectors of their interests,” Congress tweeted.

On Thursday, Congress delegation led by Sonia Gandhi met President Ram Nath Kovind to urge him to remove Amit Shah as the Union Home Minister for allegedly failing to prevent the violence in the national capital.
