New Delhi, July 7: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Rajasthan’s Jaipur later today to lay the foundation of at least 13 infrastructure projects costing more than Rs. 2,100 crore. PM Modi will also be interacting with beneficiaries of seven central government and five state government’s flagship schemes which includes the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana and others. Out of the 13 infrastructure projects, PM Modi will lay the foundation for- Integrated Infrastructure package for the walled city of Udaipur, Elevated Road Project for Ajmer, Water Supply and Sewerage projects in various cities, Upgradation of STPs in Dholpur, Nagaur, Alwar, and Jodhpur. Prime Minister Modi will also address a public meeting in Jaipur. A presentation will also be given by Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje after the PM’s arrival. Various preparations have been undertaken to ensure the smooth arrival of PM Modi, security being at its highest. Two helipads have been constructed at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur to facilitate the landing of PM Modi and the sensitive areas in the city have been covered by CCTV cameras. Temporary control rooms have been set up to report any kind of suspicious activity if noticed.
PM Modi’s Beneficiaries interaction programme is scheduled at Amrudon Ka Bagh in the pink city in which over 2 lakh beneficiaries will be present. These beneficiaries have called from all 33 districts of the state to take part in this programme. As per officials, the state government has arranged nearly 5,579 buses to bring people to the venue.
