New Delhi: Narendra Modi has been sworn in as the Prime Minister of India, for the third consecutive time, scripting history and becoming the second person in Indian history to be Prime Minister for the third time in a row, after Pt Jawaharlal Nehru. Along with PM Modi, his Council of Ministers, which includes a total of 71 ministers, will also be taking oath as part of Modi 3.0 Cabinet. Narendra Modi Sworn-In As Prime Minister Of India

As mentioned earlier, Prime Minister-Designate of BJP-led NDA, Narendra Damodardas Modi has been sworn-in as the Prime Minister of India, for the third time in a row. The elaborate swearing-in ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhawan has been attended by dignitaries from all walks of life, including business, entertainment, religion and politics. The guest list includes Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, Anant Ambani, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Murli Manohar Joshi, Yogi Adityanath and CJI DY Chandrachud among others.

PM Modi Council Of Ministers

Speaking about the details of the Council of Ministers of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 72 ministers including the PM will be part of the Council of Ministers. Led by the Prime Minister, the new team includes 30 other Cabinet Ministers, 5 Minister of State with Independent Charge and 36 Ministers of State. The representation in the Cabinet is from 24 States, as well as all regions within the states; there is leadership from across social groups – 27 OBC, 10 SC, 5 ST, 5 Minorities – including a record 18 senior Ministers heading Ministries. The Council will include 11 NDA Ally Ministers, 43 Ministers who are serving the third term or are higher in Parliament and 39 having been Ministers in Government of India before. Multiple former CMs, 34 having served in State legislatures, 23 having worked as Ministers in States are also part of Council.
