New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed the centenary of the Yogoda Satsanga Society of India and said that it is unfortunate that some people link ‘Adhyatma’ with religion. They are very different. The Prime Minister also released special commemorative postage stamps on 100 years of Yogoda Satsang Math.

Speaking at the event, PM Modi said that India’s spirituality is its strength and the path shown by Yogi ji was not about ‘Mukti’ but ‘Antaryatra’. “Once an individual develops an interest in Yoga and starts diligently practising it, it will always remain a part of his or her life,” the Prime Minister further added.

Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS) celebrated its 100 years journey on Friday.In this regard, the organisation announced its celebratory plans. One major aim of YSS is to reveal the complete harmony, basic oneness, and common foundations of all true religions.
