Shimla: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed ‘Jan Abhar Rally’ in Dharamshala on Thursday and congratulated the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Himachal Pradesh for completing one year in office. Addressing the gathering, he said the state was like his home.Also Read - Good News! The Prime Minister also attacked the Congress. He said, “For forty years, our ex-servicemen asked for ‘One Rank, One Pension’. The previous government allocated just Rs 500 crore for it. But when we came to power, we implemented OROP and ensured welfare of our ex-servicemen.”

Earlier in the day, at least 35 students of a computer training centre, on their way to Police Grounds to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Dharamshala, were injured as the bus in which they were travelling in overturned.

Among the injured, the condition of five is stated to be critical and they have been admitted to hospital.

The incident happened in Jawali sub-division of Kangra district when the driver of a private school bus, carrying the students, lost control over the vehicle, as a result of which it overturned.
