Saharanpur, May 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday will address public rally in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh to mark the 2 years completion of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at the centre. As nearly two lakh people are about to be present at the rally, massive security arrangements have been taken by the authorities.
The decision to celebrate Bharatiya Janata Party’s two years in Union Cabinet comes in Saharanpur of Uttar Pradesh comes at a time when the state is waiting for its assembly polls in 2017. With the preparation completed by the party workers and the enthusiasm at much higher level, the saffron party is leaving no stone behind to make the rally successful.
The BJP got a boost in the recent Assembly elections in Assam and comparatively increased its seats voting percent in other states like West Bengal, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. With recent success in mind and the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh, it is expected that the Prime Minister will boosts his government’s successful policies that have benefited the people of India in last two years. Though, the is very cautious about its each step after the debacle in Bihar, it do not want to create any sort of mistakes in Uttar Pradesh and trying to woo the dalit and the Muslim voters, who play a key role in formation of the government. This can ale be analysed with the fact that the place PM Modi has chosen for his rally is in Dilli Road of Saharanpur, known to be a bastion of Mayawati.
Looking closely, the BJP is trying to repeat the 2014 ‘Modi Wave’ and this time by boosting the policies like Jan Dhan Yojana, Beti Bacho Beti Padhao, Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, Digital India, Make In India, Start Up India, Skill India and others. However, Congress have criticised the move of BJP.
