Patna, Ociober 25: Nitish Kumar, Janata Dal United Chief on Sunday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that he is either on videsh yatra (foreign tour) or on chunaav yatra (election tour) at a rally held on Hajipur.
The rally which was attended by thousand’s of JDU supporters, Kumar also raised the issue of rising prices of pulse. Kumar said, “The ministers of BJP are busy in other things and are not looking at the rising price of pulses”.
“Pehley Bihar key log dal-bhat-tarkari khaatey they ab toh Bhat key saath sirf tarkaaree pey guzaaraa karnaa pad rahaa hai,(People of Bihar use to east Rice-Dal and Vegetables but now they have to depend upon only Rice and vegetables)”, said Kumar.
He further added that the BJP is accusing him of increasing prices of Pulses. But the prices of pulses have increased much more in other states than compared to Bihar, Kumar said.
On the other side Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a scathing attack on Nitish Kumar. Modi said that Nitish and Lalu are responsible for Bihar’s poor development.
According to PTI, Narendra Modi, blamed, “Bade bhaai (Lalu) and Chhote Bhaai (Nitish Kumar) for problems plaguing the state”. Modi also raised the issue of young youth’s migrating from Bihar in large numbers in search of livelihood.
Modi also criticised the video in which Nitish Kumar is seen taking blessings of a ‘tantrik’, which went viral on Friday.
Prime Minister said, asking people whether those with an “eighteenth century mindset” can develop Bihar and asked the electorate “to select and wipe out” such people from the political landscape of Bihar.
