Ludhiana, March 9: It’s just two days to go for March 11 when results for the Punjab Assembly elections 2017 will be announced. Ahead of the results, the exit polls will be announced at 5.30 pm this evening with poll pundits, analysts and experts taking their guess on who is likely to emerge victorious in the state. However, in the run up to the exit polls beginning at 5.31 pm and the final counting on March 11, astrologers and tarot card readers are at work and have made their predictions for the state that is seeing an intense three-way battle between the Congress, the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal-Bharatiya Janata Party combine and the new entrant Aam Aadmi Party. Here’s what astrologers are saying:
Tanmay K Thakar of Ganesha Speaks has said that Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party will decide the fate of Punjab Assembly elections. He says that while the party may not be winning Punjab, it is going to give a headache to the ruling SAD-BJP alliance as well as the Congress. In a Ganesha Speaks post, Thakar says that due to the position of the Moon and Sun and the play of planets, it will be difficult to judge the voting trend. However, he says that there is a strong possibility that AAP’s performance will decide the fate of the Punjab Assembly 2017. “AAP will remain a “Dark Horse” and may surprise many with the election results,” he says. As reported by Hindustan Times, tarot card reader Sunidhi Mehra had predicted a hung Assembly in Punjab. Mehra says that while the Congress is likely to emerge as the single largest party, the AAP could play kingmaker and form an alliance with the Congress to form the government in the state. Chandigarh astrologer Madan Gupta Spatu has also predicted a similar pattern with the Congress emerging as the single largest party, but needing the support of smaller parties to form the government.
In contrast, Chandigarh numerologist ND Khetarpal says that the Aam Aadmi Party is likely gto form the government in Punjab. This is something many poll pundits are also saying. All eyes are now on the exit polls as to what they predict for Punjab. Whether the AAP wins Punjab or not, from what it seems, the party may play spoiler in the Parkash Singh Badal-ruled state.
