Patna, April 11: Responding to the withdrawal of 32 military jawans from duty at her residence late on Tuesday, former Bihar chief minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Rabri Devi has written to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. In her scathing note, Rabri has alleged that most of the security was any way removed when her husband Lalu Yadav was sent to jail on December 23, 2017. She said the remaining security was for the former chief minister’s residence or for her. However, the way the 32 jawans were removed had forced her to give up the government-provided security without any delay. But, she warned, if something happened to her family or her, then the Home Ministry and the Home Minister would be held responsible. Speaking to media, Rabri also pointed out how the security was removed at around 9 pm on Tuesday. She said, “It’s a conspiracy to get me and my family killed.” Also Read - Lalu Yadav Under Observation At AIIMS, Nitish Kumar Wishes Him Speedy Recovery
Calling it a conspiracy by Nitish Kumar and Sushil Modi, Rabri alleged that her husband, jailed in fodder scam cases, was being given a slow death. She said he was dying every day but she didn’t know if it was due to some ailment or because of some medicines which were being administered to him. She also claimed that Lalu’s sugar level was on the rise. She said there was no way her family could trust the state government and that they were willing to leave the official residence if the government asked them to do so.
