Patna, Nov 2: Ahead of the fifth round of electoral battle in Bihar, Congress vice president launched an all-out attack against Bharatiya Janata Party, accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah of spreading communal poison for political gains. Accusing Modi of selling fake dreams to the electorates, Rahul questioned the Modi on his failure to bring back black money to the nation.
“Now, elections have come and they want to vitiate atmosphere in the region. Polls are conducted over here and they are raking up the issue of Pakistan. Modi ji is trying to fool the voters of Bihar,” Rahul said, further appealing the youth segment of the electorates to vote for Congress. “We promise you that this party will listen to your voice, react to it and pay heed to your concerns. We will strive to create employment opportunities here.” (ALSO READ: Narendra Modi says Congress can’t lecture on tolerance after 1984 Sikh riots)
Ridiculing the promise of jobs and infrastructure made by Modi, the Congress vice president added, “Before Lok Sabha, the whole nation was promised that black money would be brought back within 100 days and Rs 15 lakhs will be distributed among the masses. What happened to that promise? Why does not the Prime Minister talk about Acche Din anymore?”
The final phase of Bihar election will be conducted on November 5. The results will be declared on November 8. Mahagathbandhan comprising of Congress, JD(U) and RJD are contesting against the NDA led by BJP.
