New Delhi, Apr 6: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday hit out at Bharatiya Janata Party led Rajasthan government on a group of cow vigilantes’ attack on five Muslims in Alwar. Condemning the brutal attack of gau rakshaks, Rahul Gandhi demanded Rajasthan government to punish the culprits. Rahul Gandhi posted two tweets on his official Twitter handle on Alwar lynching by gau rakshaks.
Calling the Alwar lynching by gau rakshaks ‘shocking breakdown of law and order, Rahul Gandhi said, “When government abdicates responsibility and allows lynch mobs to rule, tragedies of immense proportion follow.” “We expect Government to take strict action against those responsible for this brutal and senseless attack,” tweeted Rahul Gandhi on Alwar lynching incident. “All right thinking Indians must condemn this blind brutality,” Congress leader added.

A 55-year-old man died at a hospital in Rajasthan’s Alwar district late Monday night after allegedly being beaten by a group of cow vigilantes. The deceased Pehlu Khan and others were injured when a mob attacked when they were transporting cows in vehicles on the Behror highway in Alwar district on Saturday.
