Amethi, October 5: Addressing people in his Lok Sabha constituency on Thursday, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi blasted out at the Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. He said the government has failed as India produces 450 jobs every day, whereas China’s daily output is 50,000.

“PM is the leader of the country. He should not make excuses and deliver,” said Congress vice president.

The Gandhi scion apparently doesn’t regard PM Modi as a true leader. “PM Modi should say we have one more year, we will deliver now. That is what a true leader would do,” said Gandhi. Highlighting about the job generation issue, he went on to say that it is a very serious problem in the country as the government is not able to provide jobs to the youngsters.

Talking on the issue of agrarian crisis, the 47- year-old stated,”  There is another crisis which is farm, agricultural crisis. Farmers are committing suicides. Instead of making excuses and saying pessimists are creating an atmosphere, PM Modi should stand up and say we have not managed to deliver.”

During Gandhi’s address to the people of Amethi on Wednesday, he lashed out at BJP’s mascot Narendra Modi saying if the government is not able to give employment to youths and eradicate issues faced by farmers then it should handover the throttle to the grand old party.

Gandhi, who as per reports is believed to be elevated to the post of Congress President after Diwali assured people that within six months his government can chop off major issues like unemployment and grievances of farmers.

” India would only grow with schemes like Make in India, Make in Amethi and Make in Uttar Pradesh and not with Make in China products,” Gandhi had stated yesterday.
