The posters of ‘Rahul Gandhi missing’ have cropped up in Amethi every now and then in the past three years. Reports say Rahul Gandhi hasn’t visited Amethi for almost a year even as he met farmers from the constituency in Lucknow earlier this month.
Rahul Gandhi met farmers whose land had been acquired for widening a national highway on August 1 and assured them of all help in resolving their issues, the Congress said. He also meth officials from the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) over the issue.
