New Delhi: Udaipurwati is one of the 200 constituencies which is set to go on polls on December 7 in the Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2018. The results of Udaipurwati Vidhan Sabha will be declared on December 11.

The main political parties contesting in the Udaipurwati assembly constituency are Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Indian National Congress (INC).

For 2018 Assembly polls, BJP has fielded Shubhkaran Choudhary, Congress has fielded Rajendra Singh Gudha from Udaipurwati. The current MLA of the Vidhan Sabha seat is Shubhkaran Choudhary from the ruling BJP.

In 2013, the Vidhan Sabha seat was won by Shubhkaran Choudhary (BJP). He had defeated Congress’ Rajendra Singh Gudha. Chouhary had managed to  win a total of 46089 votes while Gudha had received 20641 votes.

Single phase voting for the Rajasthan Assembly Election 2018 will be held on December 7, 2018 and counting of votes will take place on December 11, 2018, along with four other states—Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram.

There are 200 assembly constituencies in Rajasthan. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had won 163 seats and the Congress 23 seats in the 14th assembly election held in 2013.
