New Delhi: Voting for Rajasthan Assembly Election 2018 is scheduled to take place on Friday, i.e., December 7. Polling for 199 Assembly seats in the state will begin at 8 AM and continue till 5 PM. Step 1: Go to the official website – ceorajasthan.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on ‘Search Name in Electoral Roll‘ link on the right-hand side of the home page.
Step 3: Fill all the required details such as Voter ID Card number, the name of the assembly and the voter.
Step 4: Now press the icon ‘Find’. A new link to download the voter list will appear.
Step 5: Click on the download link to check your name.

The voting will take place in 199 constituencies in about 51,965 polling stations, with BJP and Congress as the main contenders. Moreover, this year, 2,274 candidates are in the fray for Rajasthan Assembly Elections.
The Election Commission (EC) on November 29 postponed the Rajasthan Assembly elections in Ramgarh Assembly constituency under Alwar district after the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate, Lakshman Singh passed away. Singh died of heart attack on November 29. Therefore, the Election Commission officials announced that the polling will take place in 199 out of the total 200 seats, on December 7. The date for the election in Ramgarh will be declared later, added an official.
The counting of the votes for Rajasthan Assembly Election 2018 will take place on December 11, along with that of Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Chhattisgarh.
