New Delhi, November 6: After the humiliating loss of Bhartiya Janata Party in Bihar, senior party leader Rajnath Singh met Rashtriya Swayam Sevak (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday at Sangh’s ‘Keshav Kunj’ office in Jhandewalan.

Rajnath Singh, who seems to be upset with the humiliating loss of BJP in 2015 Bihar election discussed political situation in the country during the meeting.
Singh, who has been watching the scene quietly and biding his time. It is believed that Singh is looking to pitch to return as BJP party chief as he really wanted to lead the campaign in Uttar Pradesh in 2017 in his own way, senior journalist Shekhar Gupta posted of Facebook.
It is still not sure who will be held responsible for today’s humiliating defeat but party chief Amit Shah, who was a star campaigner and organiser had been in the spotlight after Sundays poll results.
Sources close to the Home Minister, revealed to PTI, termed today’s meeting between Rajnath-Bhagwat as pre-scheduled.
Someone has to take responsibility, as soon after BJP legislative candidates were found trailing on Sunday morning, Amit Shah called a Parliamentary board meeting on Monday to analyse the poll results.
Meanwhile, many senior party leaders met Shah at his residence after was clear that the BJP-led NDA was headed to a massive loss in the high-stakes elections.
The Home Minister has extensively campaigned in the Bihar assembly polls where he addressed around 40 rallies. The BJP-led NDA, however, suffered a major drubbing at the hustings with the JD(U)-RJD-Congress grand alliance steering a stunning victory with two-thirds majority.
