New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party candidate A Dhanwanti Chandela has won from West Delhi’s Rajouri Garden with a margin of 21,194 votes. Chandela bagged 56.13% of the votes cast (54,256) followed by BJP’s Ramesh Khanna securing a 34.26% (33,063) and Congress’ Amandeep Singh Sudan bagging a mere 2,845 votes. Rajouri Garden Assembly seat comes under the West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency and the seat is currently held by Jarnail Singh of AAP. In the 2020 elections, there were a total of 1,80,156 eligible electors, of which 94,269 were male, 85,886 female and 1 voter of the third gender.
