Currently, Nritya Gopal Das is in Mathura. He was tested after he complained of breathing difficulties. Agra’s Chief Medical Officer and a team of doctors have arrived in Mathura for Das’s treatment. Concerns were raised over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ayodhya specifically after these COVID-19 cases were reported. Special sanitisation drive was taken place before PM Modi’s arrival. Prime Minister, too, was seen santising his hands several times during his stay at Ayodhya.

Apart from PM Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat were there at the stage. Das also took part in Janmashtami celebrations in Mathura, reports said.
